Journeyman Electrician

If you are a person who is not 100% customer-driven, doesn't show up on time, doesn't respect people's property/company equipment and is on their phone all day, this job is not for you!

However, if you are reliable, motivated, safety minded, takes pride in your work, has experience/likes working on a variety of electrical devices and systems with a great team, you've landed in the right place.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Working on a variety of commercial, residential and service projects throughout the state of CT. Projects range from renovation and additions to ground up new construction.

  • Installing electrical wiring new electrical services, generator installations as well as working on new and existing construction.

  • Projects vary in size from months to days. We work with small contractors and businesses as well as some of the largest contractors and businesses in the state of CT.

  • Job site safety, quality workmanship and customer service are key attributes at PAUL CICCHETTI electrical, as we take them very seriously.

  • Competitive salary based on experience.

  • Must have valid CT driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Requirements

  • Must have knowledge of installing lighting, switches, plugs, controls, wiring panels and general electrical installations that are NEC and code compliant.

  • Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guideline.

  • Must have a valid E-2 or E-1 Electrical License.

  • Must have own transportation and a valid CT driver’s license.

  • Must have hand tools for the trade.

  • Must be capable of ladder work, heights and lifting heavy objects.

  • Employer reserves the right to preform drug test and background check.

Skills

  • Looking for a positive minded individual that is willing to learn and be a team player.

  • Must be proficient in being able to run a job with an apprentice

  • Maintain clean working areas

  • Proven experience as an electrician

  • Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (i.e. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability

  • Must have good communication skills with clients

  • Must be able to complete task as directed by the office

Schedule/Work Location:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Monday to Friday

  • Weekend availability, as needed

  • Multiple locations throughout the state of CT
